Billy Gene “Wile” Williams, 69 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in Purdin, Missouri. Billy was born December 12, 1950 to Donald and Lola Leon (Shira) Williams. In 1997 he married Lisa Long and a son, LaKota, was born to this marriage. Survivors include: Two sons, Jordan Clark (Laura) of Purdin, and LaKota Williams of Milan; one grandson, Jagger Clark; two aunts, Jackie Chamberlain of San Diego, CA, and Twila Bayne of Trenton, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and a sister, Pamela Johnson.
Billy was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County graduating from Milan High School. He worked at Con Agra for many years, and later worked at MFA for several years until ill health forces him to retire. Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to cook out on the grill and drive around.
Billy’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. A visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service, starting at 5:00 PM.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help with his medical bills.
