The Kirksville Tigers used a punishing inside game and good free throw shooting to beat Clark Co. Tuesday 68-47 to stay unbeaten.
The Indians got to within ten at one point in the second half before Carson Kelly got hot, making 6 out of 6 free throws on the night, five of those in the second half. That, coupled with multiple takeaways by Cole Kelly, and 6 fourth quarter points from Carter Pinkerton helped KHS pull away. Carson and Cole each finished with 16 points, Pinkerton had 12. As a team, KHS went 9 for 14 at the line. The Tigers are now 4-0 on the season and play at Mexico Tuesday.
