Riley Isaac Stoner

Riley Isaac Stoner age 20, of Baring, MO passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at his residence.

Riley graduated from Knox County High School. He was employed Knox County Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide, IDK Café in Baring, and Knox County Water District in Knox City, MO. Riley enjoyed comic books and movies, swimming, hanging with his friends, spending time with his family. He also enjoyed weekly suppers with his great aunt Donna Otte. Riley loved his dog Romeo and they were best friends most of his youth life. Riley enjoyed hanging out with his friends doing video games and swimming. He looked forward to his weekly playtime with his special family friend Asher Hemmerling. Both enjoyed time together teaching each other about playing in dirt with big trucks and nerf gun war with Xa’Von Hunter another family friend.

Riley looked forward to spending 4th of July with his family at Lake of the Ozarks and really enjoyed the end of summer for the family reunions and floating down the river.

He loved being out on the farm with his grandparents fishing, butchering and hunting and swimming at Baring Seaver Lake.

Surviving are his father and step mother Sam Stoner and Amy martin of Edina, MO, his mother Loretta Gibson of Kirksville, MO, step brother Zachary (Devan) Howerton of Lewistown, MO, sisters Brooklyn Hicks and Melody Hicks of Kirksville, MO, step sister Brandi (Chase) Dixson of Kirksville, MO, grandparents Larry and Kim Gibson of Kirksville, MO, Belinda Miller of Kirksville, MO, Delbert and Rita Stoner of Hurdland, MO, uncle Blake Gibson of Kirksville, MO, aunt Sarah (Joe) Duran of Jefferson City, MO, uncle DeWayne (Geri) Hatfield and family of Lake of the Ozarks, MO.

Memorial services will be held 11 am Tuesday, June 13, 2023, with visitation beginning at 10 am in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Tom Sullenger will officiate the services. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery Hurdland, MO.
