Mary Alice (Johnson) Munn, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.
The daughter of the late Robert Eugene and Bettie Lou (Moody) Johnson, she was born June 2, 1955 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by one brother, DeWayne Johnson. On August 29, 1971 in Kirksville, Missouri, Mary was united in marriage to Terry Lee Munn.
Mary is survived by her husband Terry of fifty-one years; three sons and daughters-in-law, Brandon and Lynzi Munn of Columbia, MO, Bryce and Nahiesha Munn and Brent and Cheryl Munn all of Kirksville, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Tera and Joe Story of Kirksville, MO; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Henry Johnson, Roger and Connie Johnson, and Bill and Melanie Johnson all of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Shirlene Tyler of LaPlata, MO; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Alaynah) Penick, Austin (Jessica Blake) Penick, Golden Munn, Zane Munn, Riley Munn, Kaden Munn, and Sienlar Munn; one great-grandchild, Owen; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1973. She worked several jobs in Kirksville, including McGraw Edison, housekeeping at Super 8, cleaning at McDonalds, cleaning homes, babysitting in her home, and for Maritz.
Mary had a great love for her family and loved time they spent together. She will be sadly missed by them all.
Mary was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kirksville Congregation.
Mary has been cremated and a celebration of her life will take place 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kirksville, with Elder Chris Snyder presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mary may be made to her husband, Terry Munn, and may be left at the church or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
