Phyllis Tuttle

Phyllis Louise Richardson Tuttle, 90, passed away in New Florence, Missouri, at St. Andrews Care Home on May 1, 2022.

The daughter of George Albert Bleything and Mignonette Henninger, she was born on October 11, 1931. On August 12, 1949 in Queen City, Missouri, she married Millard Max Richardson.

From that union, surviving are one son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Linda Richardson of Montgomery City, Missouri; two daughters, Mrs. Don and (Shari) Eggley, Mrs. Kenneth (Susan) Harbur of Gothenburg, Nebraska; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She has one surviving brother, Jimmy Bleything of Saveton, Missouri. On June 18th, 1988, she married Don Tuttle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; eleven brothers and sisters; her husband Max and her husband Don.

Mrs. Tuttle attended school in Memphis, Missouri. She was employed by Solar Gas, Adair Distributors, and Cash Saver Grocery, where she served as a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Tuttle loved music, playing the piano and organ, sewing and embroidering. She also loved gardening. Mrs. Tuttle attended Queen City and Atlanta churches.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. at Travis-Noe Funeral Home on May 14th, 2022. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. May 14th, 2022. The casket will be closed at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville. Jim Kilson will conduct the services.
