Rosella R. Benham, age 93 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri.
Born April 17, 1929 in Winamac, Indiana, the daughter of Harvey and Dora (Hall) Yockey. On July 12, 1956 in Ely, Nevada, she was united in marriage to Richard Benham who preceded her in death on December 20, 1999.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; eleven siblings; and two grandchildren, Sean Noblet and Kari Benham.
Surviving are four children, Elayne Britton of the state of Indiana, Bettye (David) Noblet of the state of Arizona, Larry (Dorothy) Benham of Buckner, Missouri, and Stacia (Kenneth) Terry of Jefferson City, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Michael Staggs, Troy Britton, Chastity (Graham) Klamert, Kimberly (Benham) Richardson, and David Benham; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great-grand-children.
Rosella lived most of her life in the Elmer and La Plata communities. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, walks, car rides, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the La Plata Cemetery in La Plata, Missouri.
