Michael Gail Ratliff, age 60, of Edina, MO, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at his home in Edina, MO. He was born, October 3, 1960, in Kirksville, MO, the son of Cleo Franklin and Barbara Lou Songer Ratliff. He married Sonya Null and they had one daughter Bailey.
Surviving are his mother Barbara Ratliff of Edina, MO, one daughter Bailey Ratliff and her fiancé Christopher Dunlap of Denton, TX, two sisters Brenda (Kenny) Williams of Ft. Worth, TX, and Angie Pace of Ft. Worth, TX, one brother Joey (Nancy) Ratliff of New Melle, MO, four nephews and one niece, Tanner Robinson, Joshua Williams, Megan Williams, Judson Williams, Jesse Ratliff and friend Megan, and several cousins.
Mike was preceded in death by his father.
Mike graduated from Knox County High School. He was employed in his earlier years with Marbles Ready Mix. He moved to the Dallas – Ft. Worth area in 1983 where he was employed in construction. Mike enjoyed horses, fishing, reading, ancient history, and archeology. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Yogi.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend David Atkins will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Joey Ratliff, Jason Violette, Jesse Ratliff, Pat Kriegshauser, Albert Dye and Christopher Dunlap.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Thursday at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
