Linda Lee Barnett, 73 of Kirksville passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
The daughter of Stanley and Maxine (Crawford) Christman, she was born May 16, 1948 in Kirksville, Missouri. Linda grew up in Kirksville and graduated from the Kirksville High School in 1966. She worked 40 plus years at Northeast Regional Medical Center, mostly in the admissions department where she greeted many patients with a smile.
She loved to travel, antiques, taking care of her yard and Gardening, cookbooks and recipes, history and old movies. She especially loved her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Kim Barnett of Phoenix, AZ; her son, Nick Barnett of Columbia, MO; three grandchildren, Cooper and Mackenzie Barnett and Mimi Barnett; two sisters, Jeanette Webber of Saginaw, MI and Sandi Christman of Johns Creek, GA and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Dr. Tim Webber and a nephew, Timmie Webber.
Visitation with be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hills Cemetery.
