Ronald Eugene “Ron” McFarland, 52, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his home.
The son of Alva Eugene and Helen Louise (Mountain) McFarland, he was born November 26, 1968 in Kirksville, Missouri.
Ron is survived by his three daughters and two sons-in-law, Michelle and Steven Clark of Kirksville, MO, Kristi and Alex Wyatt of Kirksville, MO, and Heather McFarland of Trenton, MO; two sisters, Velma Collins of Kirksville, MO and Connie Brogan, as well as four grandchildren, Savannah Gatton, Killian Gatton, Cameron Daugherty, and Colton Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Howard E. McFarland.
Ron received his education in the Kirksville public schools. He was self employed in construction, plumbing, and electrical work most of his life.
Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, craft wood work, and loved playing with his grandchildren. He loved to help people in need.
Ron has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. before the memorial service.
