Vicki S. Bryan

Vicki S. Bryan, age 68 of Elmer, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Born July 30, 1952 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of William Allen “Bojack” and Lavon Mae (Biswell) Rhoades. She was united in marriage to Rande Bryan who preceded her in death on November 25, 2011.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, infant sister, and nephew, Steven Rhoades.

Surviving are one daughter, Heather Strader of Cornelius, North Carolina; one son, Caleb (Teresa) Ralston of Kirksville, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Angelique, Jasper, and Wylde Ralston, Lexus, Skyler, Preston, Legend, and Avery Strader; one sister, Marsha (Scotty) Janes of Elmer, Missouri; one brother, Allen Rhoades of Elmer, Missouri; three nieces, Jennifer Chinn, Celeste Armstrong, and Shilo Terek; and several cousins.

Vicki was a 1970 graduate of Atlanta High School, and was a member of the Elmer Christian Church.

Vicki loved spending time with her family and this is her message she wrote for them: “God Bless you one and all, my wonderful family. Know that I will remain with you always. I will blossom with the Lilacs, Rose Bushes, and Lily of the Valley in the springtime and hum with the bees in the summer sun. I will sparkle with the snowflakes and in the ribbons of each rainbow. I will laugh when you laugh, cry when you cry, so as long as you are altogether, I leave you my love.”

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Bell Cemetery, northwest of Elmer, Missouri. Pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 with the family receiving friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
