NHL Scores Tuesday 4-6

NHL SCOREBOARD…
Buffalo 5 – NEW JERSEY 3… The Sabres closed with three straight goals to upend the Devils and end their 10-game road winless streak. Casey Mittelstadt and Rasmus Dahlin both had a goal and an assist.

N.Y. ISLANDERS 1 – Washington 0… Brock Nelson broke a scoreless tie with just under seven minutes remaining and the Islanders held on to clip the Capitals. Goalie Semyon Varlamov stopped all 29 shots.

N.Y. RANGERS 8 – Pittsburgh 4… Eight different players found the net as the Rangers outshot the Penguins. Artemi Panarin had a goal and three assists.

Boston 4 – PHILADELPHIA 2… Patrice Bergeron scored three goals in leading the Bruins past the Flyers. Brad Marchand added a shorthanded goal. Jeremy Swayman made 40 saves at goal.

CAROLINA 5 – Florida 2… Jordan Staal scored two of the Hurricanes’ four unanswered goals in the third period in a comeback win over the Panthers. Vincent Trocheck had a goal and an assist. Goalie Petr Mrazek made 34 stops.

COLUMBUS 4 – Tampa Bay 2… The Blue Jackets scored the game’s first four goals in skating past the Lightning. Max Domi and Jack Roslovic each had a goal and an assist. Joonas Korpisalo made 36 saves at goal.

Nashville 3 – DETROIT 2 (SO)… Ryan Johansen and Roman Josi scored in the shootout  to send the Predators past the Red Wings. Mikael Granlund scored a tying goal with 3:58 left in regulation.

CHICAGO 4 – Dallas 2… Patrick Kane scored a goal and assisted on another as the Blackhawks topped the Stars. Chicago also got goals from Kirby Dach, Dominik Kublik and Alex DeBrincat.

Anaheim 5 – SAN JOSE 1…  David Backes and Nicolas Deslauriers each had a goal and an assist for the Ducks as they skated past the Sharks. Goalie John Gibson made 34 saves.
