Ann Sue (Rogers) Campbell

Ann Sue (Rogers) Campbell, age 89 of Edina, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, in the LaPlata Nursing Home. She was born July 26, 1931, in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Robert Kelley and Juanita Faye Easley Rogers.

She was united in marriage to Colin Charles Campbell on June 8, 1953 in Kirksville, MO. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2016. She was also preceded by her parents, an infant sister, brother R. Kelley Rogers and a son-in-law Aaron Vansickle and her mother and father in-law, Virgil Hone and Genevieve Ellis Campbell.

Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Vansickle of Hurdland, MO, Mary Rogers Campbell of Edina, MO, sister-in-law Gloria Lee Rogers of Plano, TX, three grandchildren, Jessica Ann Rudd of Columbia, MO, Joseph Colin Rudd of Topeka, KS, and Justin Hone Rudd and fiancée Brigitta Miller of Quincy, IL, one great grandchildren Bradey Foster Reardon of Columbia, MO, Brentlee Alan Head of Hurdland, MO, one niece Tracie Rogers Coons of Plano, TX, one nephew Trent (Stacey) Rogers of Tennessee, great nieces and nephews and several cousins including, Russ & Jackie Harrison of Kirksville, MO, Ron Ridge of Arizona, David Ridge of Colorado and Gary Ridge of Texas.

Ann Sue received her education in Brashear and Kirksville and graduated from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, MO. Ann Sue was a substitute school teacher and was involved with her husband in various businesses. She was a girl scout leader in Germany and locally for many years. Ann Sue served on the Becky Thatcher Girl Scout Council, was active with caring communities and was a member of Baring Country Club where she was instrumental in its restoration. Ann Sue loved traveling and taking drives. She was a member of the Edina United Methodist Church and was a ready volunteer for almost any good cause.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2021, in the Linville Cemetery Edina, MO. Reverend Graig Connell will officiate the services. The family encourage all to wear a mask.
