Penny Kay Tiedemann

Penny Kay Tiedemann, age 76 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the La Plata Nursing Home.

Born May 21, 1944 in Platteville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Hancock) Eustice. On February 12, 1966 in Belmont, Wisconsin, she was united in marriage to her best friend, Bill Tiedemann who survives.

Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Anastasia and Joshua and Lindsey; eight grandchildren, Samuel, Charles, Henry, Will, Lucy, Jaydon, Parker, and Holden, who continually brought joy to her life; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally and Clay and Jane and George; and three sisters-in-law, Jean, Barb and Louie, and Betty.

Her parents and one brother, Dick, preceded her in death.

Penny spent her working years in the medical field, retiring in 1996. She then traveled with Bill for many years while he was employed with the Department of Agriculture.

Penny’s wish was to be cremated and buried at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri. There will be no services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, MO.
