Mexico Trips Up Lady Tigers December 30, 2020 KIRXInc Sports Mexico’s Mya Miller proved to be too much as Mexico beat the Kirksville Lady Tigers 55-43 Wednesday night in Mexico. The Lady Tigers, playing for the first time in nearly a month, trailed by just one point 35-34 in the fourth quarter, but Mexico’s Miller helped the Bulldogs pull away late. She scored 14 points in the fourth, and shot 8 out of 9 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter, on her way to 37 total points for the night. She shot 12 out of 14 from the stripe for the game. Channing Totta led Kirksville with 17 points, including five 3 pointers before fouling out. Kenslie Stufflebean and Erica Treasure each scored 8. KHS was only 4 of 12 from the charity stripe. Kirksville falls to 0-3 on the year, 0-1 now in the NCMC.
