Amy Jo Hall

Amy Jo Hall, 64 years old, of Green City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Jo was born December 7, 1955 to Elmer and Imogene (Kent) Fisher. On December 21, 1974 in Green City she married Russell Hall, he survives her of the home.
Jo is also survived by: two sons, Jeremiah and wife Amanda Hall of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Travis and wife Robin Hall of Green City; five grandchildren, Skylar Hall, Ty Hall, Sydney Hullinger, Dylan Hullinger, and Caden Hall; sisters, Beth and husband Lanny Morley of Kirksville, Tamsy and husband Ron Powell of Liberty, Missouri, Julie Madden of Prescott, Arizona, Jan and husband Tom Hibbs of Columbia, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jo was a lifelong resident of Green City, graduating from Green City R-1 High School in 1974. She had a Masters Degree and was a high school teacher at Green City R-1 for the past 40 years. Jo was a member of the Green City Methodist Church, the Missouri State Teachers Association, and Alpha Delta Kappa. She served as a member of the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital Board, and the Senate Bill 40 Board in Kirksville. Jo enjoyed going to Pancake City and having coffee with her friends. She most loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A private funeral service for Jo will be held Saturday morning, November 21, 2020 at Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Green City. A public graveside service will follow at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, East of Green City. Friends may come by the funeral home for viewing anytime after 11:00 AM on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the funeral home.
