N.Y. Mets 7 – ATLANTA 2… Wilson Ramos homered with a runner aboard and singled home a run for the Mets. Robinson Cano also knocked in three runs. 

COLORADO 7 – San Francisco 6… Nolan Arenado’s two-run homer sparked a five-run bottom of the fifth inning and the Rockies rallied past the Giants. Chris Owings also went deep.

SAN DIEGO 5 – L.A. Dodgers 4… Fernando Tatis Jr. Trent Grisham and Wil Myers drilled solo homers. Jake Cronenworth singled home the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Oakland 11 – SEATTLE 1… The Athletics came alive to score eight runs after there were two outs in the top of the fifth inning. Ramon Laureano and Chad Pinder produced two-run singles during the uprising. Starter Frankie Montas (1-1) allowed just a run on four hits and struck out nine over seven innings.

INTERLEAGUE
CINCINNATI 3 – Cleveland 2… The Reds powered their way past the Indians after spotting them a two-run lead. Joey Votto blasted a two-run go-ahead homer in the bottom of the sixth inning after Nick Castellanos went deep in the fourth. Starter Sonny Gray (3-0) allowed a run on four hits over six innings.

N.Y. YANKEES 6 – Philadelphia 3… Gio Urshela’s three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning proved to be the difference in the Yankees’ defeat of the Phillies. Brett Gardner and DJ LeMahieu also homered. 

Chi. White Sox 6 – MILWAUKEE 4… The White Sox pulled past the Brewers in the late innings to ruin their home opener. Jose Abreu belted a game-tying two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning. Yoan Moncada went deep in the ninth. 

MINNESOTA 5 – Pittsburgh 4… Nelson Cruz singled home Jorge Polanco with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Twins a come-from-behind win over the Pirates. Max Kepler stroked a two-run double as Minnesota tied the game with a four-run sixth.

CHI. CUBS 2 – Kansas City 0… Alex Mills (2-0) pitched three-hit ball over seven innings and two relievers completed the Cubs’ blanking of the Royals. Kris Bryant homered and Javier Baez lifted a sacrifice fly for Chicago.
