Funeral services for Lon “Lonnie” Erwin, 69 of Bible Grove, MO will be held Wednesday morning, 5/13, at 11:00 A.M. at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Sonny Smyser. Interment will follow in the Bible Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon from 12 to 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 to 8 that evening. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 P.M. at the conclusion of the visitation at the chapel conducted by the Greensburg Lodge # 414 AF & AM.
Lonnie passed away peacefully Saturday evening, 5/9, at his home at Bible Grove, MO.
Lon is survived by his wife of 32 years, Saralyn. One daughter, Jessica Halle’ & husband Timothy of Dixon, MO. One Son, Ryan Erwin & wife Shelbie of Brashear, MO. A brother, Al Erwin & wife Linda of Greentop, MO and 2 sisters, Rebecca Wilson & husband Tom of Letts, IA and Reta Langston & husband Doug of Palmyra, MO. 2 grandsons, Eli Willison & Emerik Halle’ of Dixon, MO and 2 granddaughters, Charlie & Mackenzie Erwin of Brashear, MO. 2 Sister-In-Laws Carla (David) Pulliam of Greentop, MO & Leisa (Greg) Walter of Kirksville, MO. 2 Brother-In-Laws, Jim (Karin) Russell of New Franklin, MO & Jim (Nancy) Miller of Waukee, IA and numerous other family & friends survive as well as his faithful 4 legged companions, Hooch, Benny, Duke & Pete.
