Authrine (Burgher) Beeler

Authrine (Burgher) Beeler, 95 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Lancaster, Missouri.

The daughter of Leland and Elva (Barr) Burgher, she was born on October 11, 1924 in Ottumwa, Iowa. On February 15, 1942, she was united in marriage to Lowell Edmund Beeler in Lancaster, Missouri. To this union two children were born, Nancy and James.

Authrine is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kerby of Lancaster, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Beeler of Warsaw, Indiana; five grandchildren; several wonderful great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister, Gretchen Adkins of Lancaster, Missouri; three sisters-in-law, Violet Smoot of Kansas, Mary Beeler of Lancaster, Missouri and Sarah Beeler of Queen City, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Charles Beeler of Lancaster, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell on August 19, 2013; one son, James; five brothers, Ralph, Bryan, Norman, Grover and John Burgher and three sisters, Marjorie Smith, Geraldine Daugherty and Helen Burgher.

Authrine attended the Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, Missouri for a number of years. Lowell was called to preach in 1961 and continued to preach until he was 86 years of age. Authrine was dedicated to her husband’s many years of service to the Lord as a Pastor’s wife.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri with Mikel Roberts officiating. Memorials have been established for Schuyler County Cancer Relief Fund. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri.
