Andy Shoemaker, 38 years old, of Pollock, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Andy was born August 3, 1981 in Brookfield, Missouri to Roy Shoemaker and Kathy White. On June 8, 2012 he married Michelle (Faubion) Shoemaker, she survives him of the home. Also surviving are: Three children, Riley Shoemaker, Elaina Shoemaker, and Andrew Shoemaker, all of the home; step-father, Terry Michael Delauder of Galt, Missouri; Siblings, Jeanie Martin of Milan, Ricky Shoemaker of Jefferson City, Mickey Shoemaker(Tina) of Topeka, Kansas, Amanda Hampton (Billie Jenkins) of Wheeling, Missouri, T.J. Delauder of St. Joseph, Missouri, Forrest Shoemaker of Maryville, Missouri, and Jennifer Busch (Matt) of Brookfield; step-sister, LaDonna Alcantara of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; Uncles, Bob White of Brookfield and Butch White of Colorado; Mother-in-law, Lynn Gibson of Wisconsin; Aunts, Novalea Baker of Trenton, Elonda Sharp of Trenton, Ruth Faubion of Humbolt, Tennessee, and Barbara Edwards of Jackson, Tennessee; and great friends, Garth and Chelsea Wilson of Milan.
Andy was preceded in death by: His father, Roy Shoemaker; Mother, Kathy (White) Delauder; and Step-mom, Nancy Shoemaker.
Andy grew up in Galt, graduating high school at Grundy R-V. Andy then worked at Con Agra for many years. He enjoyed horseback riding, going camping, and shooting guns. He collected any John Wayne memorabilia. Andy liked holidays, he especially loved Christmas lights. Andy was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed helping coach little league football. Andy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and telling stories. He loved his kids and wife, Michelle, more than anything in the world.
A funeral service for Andy will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday evening, February 20, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. A visitation is scheduled for two hours prior to the service, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Cremation will follow.
