Frederick Brent Wade, age 63, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at his home in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Fred was born March 1, 1956 in Milan, Missouri to Edward and Helen (Morriss) Wade. He was raised on the family farm in the Green City, Missouri area. After graduating from Green City R-1 School, he lived in several places working construction and as a mechanic. Fred moved to Sanger, California where he owned and operated a transmission repair service. He later moved to St. Joseph, Missouri where he worked in maintenance for a local shopping center. Fred always enjoyed mechanic work.
He is survived by his wife Emma Wade of Sanger, CA, four daughters, Helen Vargas of Clovis, California, Leslie Martinez (Chris) of Santa Maria, California, Teresa Steinhardt (Justin) of Clovis, California; and Kathy Smith (Lowen) of Sanger, California; one son, Micheal Wade of Clovis, California, 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and one brother, Leslie Wade of Marshall, MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joyce Wade and one uncle, Wayne Wade.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Green City. Burial will follow at the Hawkeye Cemetery west of Green City. A visitation is scheduled at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 27, 2020 at the funeral home until the time of service.
